As praias (Projeto Tamar, Aldeia Hippie, Piruí, Interlagos) onde arrecifes formam corredeiras, piscinas ou altas ondas e tanto crianças como surfistas podem se divertir; as maravilhosas refeições nos restaurantes à beira mar, o famoso acarajé das baianas e o peixe fresco trazidos pelos barcos dos pescadores; a visita ao Projeto Tamar cuja missão é proteger as tartarugas marinhas; as compras no comércio local e de artesanatos na Aldeia Hippie, que ficou famosa quando figuras ilustres do rock como Janis Joplin e Mick Jagger (vocalista dos Rolling Stones) marcaram presença; o indescritível banho nas lagoas da Aldeia Hippie e no Rio Capivara; as festas de fevereiro (Iemanjá) e março (Lavagem de Arembepe) que reúne milhares de pessoas entre baianas, blocos e trios elétricos como se fosse uma ressaca do carnaval; a noite agitada nos bares e depois aconchegante nas diversas pousadas e hotéis... Acolhedora, Arembepe, ao mesmo tempo em que mantém viva a tradição da capoeira, será palco do primeiro condomínio gay da Bahia. É isso que faz Arembepe ser envolvente até no nome.
